Regular training assures the high standard of the group. We gather up to train twice a week: Tuesdays at 7 pm - 9 pm and Thursdays at 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm in Sörnäinen.

The ensemble has many professionally skilled folk dance teachers, who bring versatility, challenges and new interest to the action of the group. Lately the group has been directed by Jyrki Lahtinen, Reetta-Kaisa Pirhonen, Timo Saari, Juha-Matti Aronen, Anu Haapoja, Katarina Marjola and Susanna Kivinen. Current director is Eero Hietanen.

Katrilli performs actively. The dance group is always performing with live music. Our music group Katrilli Combo consists of professional folk musicians and folk music students. We perform in many events throughout the year: we have become acquainted with festivals in and outside Finland. Katrilli arranges their own concerts, does a lot of public relations such as performing to order.
